Swedish MyPauze has developed a signal-blocking card holder that provides a stylish and secure storage for your credit cards, smart keys and travel cards. The signal-blocking material inside the card holder prevents your cards from being read wirelessly and protects your data from being skimmed.
The card holder blocks both RFID (Radio Frequency Identity) and NFC (Near Field Communication) communication. There are two types of wireless frequencies that can transmit stored data and data from a microchip. The technology is common in bank cards, ID cards, travel cards and some smart keys.
By blocking the wireless signal, potential thieves cannot read your cards as long as they are in the card holder. You get effective protection against wireless skimming, while the card holder provides practical storage for the cards you use daily.
The card holder is made of vegan and recycled PU leather, free from phthalates and other plasticizers. The card holder holds about 4 to 8 cards depending on how you use the five compartments.
